I have never made a pie before so I've been meaning to attempt that. Except life happens and things have been more hectic than usual at work and church lately. So here is the cheating way to make a pie. It literally took 5 minutes altogether.
It only requires 5 ingredients, most of which you probably already have around the house (if you keep ready-made pie crust in the pantry for spur-of-the-moment pie-making whims). Photos were snapped quickly via iPad (who has time to charge their camera these days???) and instructions are in the captions for those who may want to make their own cheating-way pie. :)

Now some food for the soul:
Isaiah 32:2
A man will be as a hiding place from the wind,
and a cover from the tempest,
as rivers of water in a dry place,
as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land
Isaiah 30:18
Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you;
And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you.
For the Lord is a God of justice; Blessed are those who wait for Him.
